Full-time Records Coordinator PositionThe Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Memphis is accepting applications for a
Records Coordinator position in the Academic & Student Support division. The Records
Coordinator is responsible for the records office's day-to-day operations; maintaining, correcting,
and organizing academic records; corresponding with other schools and agencies concerning
student records.
Minimum Qualifications:
•!• Associates degree, B.S. degree preferred
•!• Excellent people skills
•!• Records Management
•!• Must have a minimum of three (3) years related work experience
•!• Computer technical support experience
•!• Experience with record retention involving higher education preferred
•!• Knowledge of FERPA guidelines
•!• Proficient with computer database systems, MS Office Suite, Banner
•!• Must have the ability to complete reports with accuracy and meet deadlines
Preferred:
•!• Familiar with Banner or other electronic data management systems
•!• Experience in a higher education setting supporting students, faculty, and administration
•!• Excellent organizing and communication skills
•!• Ability to work in a team setting, but capable of working with minimal supervision
General Duties:
•!• Continuously manage the student record system to ensure accuracy
•!• Reviewing student attendance and grades in Banner
•!• Complete reports related to student enrollment, completion, placement, and licensure
•!• Assist with student registration
•!• Responsible for processing transcript, diploma, and certificate request
•!• Maintain records per TBR/TCAT guidelines to ensure accuracy, privacy, and security
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
