With below-freezing temperatures looming during the winter months, it is time for our annual reminder regarding our inclement weather procedures. The content below is meant to provide guidance for any TCAT Memphis weather-related matters during this trimester.
As you know, inclement weather can create hazardous on-road and on-campus conditions. Your safety is a high priority. Regardless of whether our campuses are open or closed due to inclement weather, please use your best judgment in deciding if you can safely make it to class and if you need to leave early to make it home safely.
News about campus closings or other emergency announcements will be sent via the SchoolCast alert system and posted on the TCAT Memphis website at www.tcatmemphis.edu when possible – unless electrical or network outages prevent website updates. Closing information can also be found on the ticker of TV Channels 3, 5, 24 & 13.
