Stories @ TCAT

TCAT-Memphis just completed its Annual Food Drive Challenge, which will benefit many people who must turn to the Mid-South Food Bank to sustain their families. Though it is a “fun and friendly competition” among the training programs, everyone understands that hunger is a serious matter.

Nick Shields’ General Aviation class has won the challenge for the 3rd consecutive year. Mr. Shields and his class will maintain the floating trophy and be treated to a well-deserved “special luncheon”, compliments of the other Aviation programs.

Travis Young’s Airframe Structure class placed 2nd; they will be awarded a ribbon and certificate.

The Dental Assistant Program, under the leadership of Alicia Hogan, came in 3rd; they will be awarded a ribbon and certificate.

With the help of other programs, 5,480 units of food were collected.
