Tennessee College of Applied Technology Memphis is proud to announce that two of its valued partners have been selected as recipients of the 2026 Tennessee Board of Regents Excellence in Philanthropy Awards.

 

The Excellence in Philanthropy Awards recognize individuals and organizations who demonstrate exceptional generosity through contributions of time, resources, and service in support of Tennessee's community and technical colleges.

 

The 2026 TCAT Memphis honorees include:

 

NAWIC Memphis Chapter 13

Recipient of the Regents Award for Excellence in Philanthropy

 

This award recognizes organizations that demonstrate sustained leadership in philanthropy, community impact, and support of education. NAWIC Memphis Chapter 13 has provided significant contributions through scholarships, personal protective equipment, student engagement initiatives, and industry partnerships that enhance workforce development and student success.

 

Andy Davis, Turner Construction Company

Recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Philanthropy

 

This award recognizes individuals or organizations that provide outstanding support to a TBR institution. Through generous contributions of time, resources, and service, Turner Construction Company has played an integral role in supporting TCAT Memphis students, programs, and campus initiatives.

 

“Strong partnerships are essential to the success of our students and the continued growth of our institution,” said Dr. Gwen Sutton, President of TCAT Memphis. “We are grateful for the commitment these partners have shown and are proud to recognize their impact.”

 

TCAT Memphis will host recognition events to formally celebrate the award recipients at a later date.
